The Story of The House Mill and Gin

Talk on the history of gin and botanicals, by local historian Jane Young, followed by a gin tour around the House Mill itself (an historical Newham gem). Four different London gins will be sampled, as visitors are taken on a guided tour of four floors of the spectacular Grade I listed House Mill.

Visitors will hear about the importance of the Three Mills site in the ‘Gin Craze’, and how the House Mill evolved, and the plans for its future development.

There is a charge of £15 per person for this event, to include gin sampling. Over 18s only. Please note that owing to space restrictions within the heritage building, this event is limited.
